Mission

MISSION STATEMENT: It is our mission to provide and support educational opportunities for students, teachers, and members of our community.

A BOCES is a Board of Cooperative Educational Services.  Wyoming Statutes Section 21-20-101 et. seq. (1977 Repub Ed.) authorizes school districts and community college districts or any combination to work together and cooperate to provide educational services, including but not limited to distance learning, adult education, college credit courses, high school concurrent enrollment, staff in-service, curriculum development, alignment and mapping services, data entry and analysis services, maintenance of an area network and computer services including software licensing, hardware replacement, upgrades as well as expansion to the network system, when the services can be more effectively provided through a cooperative effort.

In partnership with Western Wyoming Community College and Sublette County School District #9, we offer a variety of educational services to our communities including GED tutoring, adult ESL courses, High School dual and concurrent courses, and a variety of community courses such as hunter safety, woodworking, welding, computer courses, etc.  We mainly serve the Big Piney, Marbleton and La Barge communities.
